About Us

Robynne Stock Occupational Therapy is a specialist practice specialising in adult neurology, geriatrics, and palliative care based in Sandton, Johannesburg. We primarily treat clients who have suffered from strokes, head injuries, brain cancer, spinal cord injuries, Guillain-Barré syndrome, dementia, and other rare neurological conditions.

Our treatment philosophy is holistic, focusing not only on the client’s physical and functional difficulties but also on the challenges they face as they seek to re-integrate with their family and their community. We strive to deliver care that is highly individualized, contextual, and meaningful.

We are ready to step in when a client leaves hospital and we can provide home-based therapy in the comfort of your own space or out-patient therapy in our rooms in Sandown.

Practice owner Robynne Morisse graduated with a BSc (OT) from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2016. She completed her community service year at South Rand Hospital and then worked for 4 years for a large rehabilitation company in the north of Johannesburg treating clients in ICU, step-down/rehab, and out-patient settings.

In April 2022, Robynne started her own practice to bring her fresh ideas, individualized care, and expertise to the field of adult neurology. Her primary goal is to help clients make functional progress that is specific to their needs, focusing on improving quality of life. To achieve this, Robynne also collaborates with other allied medical professionals such as physiotherapists, speech therapists, and neurological psychologists to provide well-rounded care that is all working toward the same objectives.
